HOUSING

As because of the housing situation in Innsbruck – and because I was asked already, student can apply (should apply as early as possible) for housing from april 5th.

• If students apply “now” they have a big chance that they get in the dorm they want to and/or get a single room, if desired
• The students have to pay an application fee (35,- euro), which is not refundable (exception: if no room would be available)
• This fee was introduced as students applied, cancelled, applied and so on.
• As soon as the students have paid the application fee, they receive a room offer with the request to pay the deposit.
• Within 14 days the student has to pay the deposit. If not the reservation offer will be withdrawn and in case the student has to apply again and pay the 35 euro again.
• Our office (iww-office) is not in charge of housing – for further questions the student should contact the housing office ÖAD directly

UNIVERSITY APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Just to inform the students in advanced about the (new) university online application steps:

• Step 1 – Check your status and fill in online application (available end of april)
• Step 2 – Prepare documents
• Step 3 – Create university student account (new)
• Step 4 - Upload requested documents (new)
• Step 5 - Document check
• Step 6 – Sending acceptance letter

The students can already prepare the following documents which they have to upload:

1. Requested documents 5 (6) documents:
   1. Application for Admission (will be provided by as when the student has applied online)
   2. Nomination (will be provided by as when the student has applied online)
   3. CV (seriously and professional – no form from the internet – need to be created by the student)
   4. ID (passport or ID-card)
   5. Passport picture
   6. Transcript of Records (Master student only)
   7. each documents need to be scanned as a single file - only PDF scans will be accepted
