Application deadlines
Deadline for the online application form: 15th May 2018
Deadline for sending the signed form: 31st May 2018 by email only to @email
Please note that we do not accept late applications.
For stays during the 2nd term: 1st November 2018 (online application form) and 15th November 2018 (send the signed form).
2. Registration procedure
After completing the online procedure, your students have to print the form and have it signed by the coordinator in the home university.
Students must also append a transcript of records of previous higher education study years.

3. Language certificate
A minimal knowledge of French (for courses given in French) and/or English (for courses given in English) is required to attend classes and take exams!
We ask the students (if it is not their mother tongue) to send with their Application form a document testifying their level of French (or English). Without this document, the application is not complete and we cannot accept it.

- Courses in English à B1 in English
- Bilingual study program à B1 in French and B1 in English
Attention, for HEC Management School-Liege, the minimal required level is B2 in French (if courses in French) and/or in English (if courses in English).
4. Acceptance
When we receive the application duly signed, we will refer to the departmental coordinator at ULiège.
Only after his/her confirmation will we send the official acceptance letter directly to your student.
As we receive about 1000 exchange students each year, incomplete or late applications will not be accepted.

Idiomas.
Es recomendable traer el certificado B1 de inglés, si no te harán asistir en el primer cuatrimestre a un curso obligatorio de inglés. Hacer el learning agreement antes de la fecha establecida por la oficina de relaciones internacionales de Liège.
Alojamiento.
El alojamiento es mejor buscarlo cuanto antes.
- KOT: habitaciones individuales en casas de estudiantes en las que se comparte cocina y baño, es la opción mas barata (250-300).
- CITYLIVING: residencia universitaria con mucho ambiente Erasmus, pero hay demasiados españoles.... (opción cara, 420 la más barata).
- Residencia de la ULG en Sar tilman (a media hora de la ciudad, para salir hay que volver en taxi...) no lo recomiendo; precio medio (sobre 300-350).
Coste de la vida.
Yo calculo un 15-20% más caro que Granada, pero es una ciudad "soportable" en ese sentido.
- Billete de bus ordinario:1.40€ Bonobús 8 viajes: 6.5€
- Bono de 10 viajes en tren para toda Bélgica: 50€
- Cerveza en el carré (zona de fiesta): entre 1.50€ y 2€, el precio mas habitual es 1.80€ (excepto fiestas especiales o ofertas que llega a cerveza=1€)
Con una vida normal, contando con alojamiento yo calculo una necesidad total de +- 800€
Vida en el campus.
- Tarjeta de estudiante: descuentos en algunos sitios, pero en realidad no muy usada.
- Deportes: el campus de Sart Tilman hay muchas opciones con campos de todo tipo.
- Bibliotecas: en cada facultad, yo solo conozco la de la HEC y es muy normalita.
- Marcha: carré (zona de pubs bastante animados y de muy diverso tipo, y muy frecuentado por estudiantes) http://lecarre.com/v10/
No hay comedores públicos, sólo las cafeterías que solo venden bocadillos y cosas de ese estilo.
Desplazamientos.
Las mayores conexiones con España las tiene Ryanair al aeropuerto de Bruselas Charleroi (a 1h15´ de Liège en tren) con Málaga hay vuelos todos los días.
También hay conexión Ryanair con Maastricht (Holanda) (a 30 km de Liège)
Transporte urbano en la ciudad: TEC para ir al campus de las afueras líneas 48 y 58)
Información sobre la ciudad.
Liège no es una ciudad que destaque en monumentos, no tiene mucho que ver (Catedral, Place Sant Lambert, calles del centro...).
Si vienes a Bélgica no puedes dejar de visitar principalmente cuatro ciudades: Gante, Brujas, Amberes y Bruselas. (tambien interesa Hasselt y Leuven).
También hay que visitar Maastricht que está muy cerca y es una ciudad muy agradable.

Sin duda una de las mejores experiencias que he podido vivir, se conoce muchísima gente de muchísimos sitios, aprendes.
